Customer's Fault Description
THE REMOTE JUST DOESN'T WORK, WE HAVE PUT A NEW BATTERY IN BUT STILL DOESN'T WORK, THERE IS A LIGHT ON IT WHICH WOULD LIGHT WHEN ITS WORKING, BUT IT DOESN'T LIGHT WHEN THE BUTTONS ARE PRESSED
This Miami fireplace remote control arrived safely and on first inspection the battery cover was missing and also the battery terminal clip was faulty (sellotaped together)
The battery clip was replaced and the handset was powered up, then the buttons were found to be open circuit. This is a common problem, all 4 buttons were replaced and full functionality was restored.
