Suddenly stopped working with red light on all the time

 

This Adjustable bed remote control arrived safely.  On powering the handset was permanently illuminated and was sending out no signal on any button press.

When opened there was signs of contamination inside the controller.  This was cleaned up using an alcohol bath and full functionality was restored.
