Customer's Fault Description
Red Light lights O.K. but won't turn the gas tap on. Will turn off with remote.
This Mertik remote and receiver arrived safely, the remote was tested and found to be transmitting correctly on both channels.
The receiver was inspected and there were signs of battery leakage on the terminals, this whole battery block was replaced. Also the 40khz crystal was replaced in the receiver.
