WORKS SOMETIMES BUT NOT OTHERS THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY

 

This remote arrived well packaged, the control was being held together by tape.  Before a power source was added it was noticed that the battery terminal was corroded, most likely due to a leakage.

The battery terminal was replaced and a power source added, the remote then functioned as normal.  I appears that the terminal itself was heavily corroded and was reading a high resistance.
