Customer's Fault Description
Battery terminals corroded, on/off button maybe sticky. Remote has a power cable that can be used and works fine (with the exception of the on/off button) with this.

 

This Caravan Mover remote arrived safely, on inspection the battery terminals were indeed tarnished due to a battery leakage these were cleaned up and a power source added, the power button was not functioning.

 

Upon opening the handset there was a contamination and corrosion around the power buttons PCB contacts, this was cleaned up and checked for continuity.  The rubber pad was also washed of all contaminants and full functionality was restored
