Transmitter operates to turn fire off but works only intermittently to turn on.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely, on powering the remote control was found to be intermittent on the combined up button press.

This was found to be due to a broken leg on one of the buttons.  Both of the relevant buttons were replaced and full functionality was restored.
