Customer's Fault Description
only has increase and decrease button both make the light come on at the top of the remote but there is no response from the fire we had an engineer come out to the fire and apparently the motor on the fire is fine and I rang you a few months ago you agreed it was likely the handset that was the problem (I can't remember why now)(the delay is I mislaid the remote and found it last night!)
This remote arrived safely but was found to be working as normal therefore the customer was requested to send over the receiver.
This receiver arrived and was found to be dead. On opening the battery compartment of the receiver it was noticed that the terminals were showing signs of leakage and corrosion.
The battery terminals block was replaced and full functionality was restored.
