Customer's Fault Description
Control works intermittently. Have changed batteries but it doesn't make a difference.
This remote arrived safely and on adding a battery was found to be non functioning at all.
Upon opening the remote there were no immediate problems visibly seen, a component check was carried out and it was eventually found that the Crystal Oscillator was open circuit, it was most likely intermittent which was causing the remote to only intermittently transmit.
This was replaced and full functionality was restored.
