Customer's Fault Description
dropped - red light still working but wont control the fire
This Mertik remote arrived safely. On powering and testing the handset was lighting up but no ultrasonic transmission was being detected.
As this handset was reported as going faulty after it being dropped this indicated that the Ultrasonic transducer was at fault, this was replace and full functionality was restored. Please note that the only replacement transducer was a larger version which required a case modification (please see testing video)
