The green light does not come on and nothing works

 

This caravan mover arrived well packaged.  On initial inspection there was no battery cover and also there was a hole in the center front of the remote, this can only be presumed that it was due to the customer trying to locate the fixing screw to open the device.  The fixing screw is actually locate inside the battery compartment under the qc guarantee sticker.

 

When the remote was opened the hole was found to have cause quite a large amount of damage, as you will see from the pictures below the attempted opening had ripped through the ribbon cable that connects the button array to the main PCB. due to this damage and also the fact that there is the initial fault as well this repair has sadly become not possible

This remote was disposed of at request of the customer 28th 4 2016
