red button on/off sometimes turns on but often won't turn on at all
This Caravan mover remote arrived safely. On first inspection the remote was being held together by tape due to the screw fixings being broken.
On adding a power source the power button was found to be "sluggush".
When opened the reason became clear, the contacts on the PCB for the power button were contaminated, this was cleaned up using alcohol and the rubber pad was also cleaned and full functionality was restored.
Whenever the power button was pressed twice the button illuminated as per normal operation.
