Casing has come apart and battery not securely fixed.

 

This Sun remote control arrived safely with a battery inserted.  The handset was split open.

On opening the controller it was noticed that there was contamination on many of the pcb pads, this was cleaned up and a power source was added.  The remote was transmitting but the red LED was not illuminating, this was replaced and the control was then functioning fully
