Customer's Fault Description
Remote is very Hap hazard some buttons won't work and sometimes
switch mover on and the caravan moves before you press any of the buttons Mind of it's own so as to speak
This Caravan mover remote arrived safely. On adding a power source the remote would not function at all (initial function is a beep and flashing green light as it searched for the receiver)
Upon opening the handset whilst maintaining the power source the remote did temporarily spring to life. It was found that the battery cable was faulty and was replaced. A full inspection of the PCB was carried out and the main ic in the center of the board was found to have a solder splash across a few of its pins as well as some contaminant (see image).
This was removed and proper functionality was restored.
