No response from unit.

 

This Satellite remote control arrived  safely and on adding a power source no IR signal was being emitted on any button press.

When the control was opened there were 2 problems noticed, the first was that one of the battery terminals was no securely fitted to the print and also one of the pins to the IR led was cracked.

Both these issues were rectified and full functionality was restored.
