LIGHT FLASHES A FEW TIMES AFTER INSERTING BATTERIES BUT WILL NOT SWITCH ON

 

This Purpleline Caravan mover remote arrived safely, on powering the control the led did illuminate for a few seconds  then there was no response from any button.

This is quite a common fault on these handsets and it is caused by a break in the print, this break was rewired and full functionality was restored.
