Customer's Fault Description
Basically the remote is not controlling the fire to ignite and then control desired temperature! Not sure if receiver or remote is the problem. We have tried new batteries, which will still be in equipment when sent to you.

 

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely with batteries inserted.  On testing the remote was not sending an ultrasonic signal on any button press, this was due to a faulty transducer.  This was replaced and retested, a signal was being transmitted but the receiver was also faulty.  It would not accept a signal from the remote, again this was a problem with the receiving transducer which was also replaced.  Full functionality was restored.
