Customer's Fault Description
NOT WORKING
This Hoffman remote controll arrived safely, fisrt inspection revealed that one of the buttons was missing and also the battery cover was missing.
On adding a power source the control was found to not be transmitting at all.
This was due to a faulty crystal oscillator which was replaced and a full infra red signal was then being transmitted. The red led indicator light does not illuminate but this does not effect functionality.
