Customer's Fault Description
The remote control `OPENS` the motorized valve, but will not `CLOSE the motorized valve. The close button appears to be at fault.

 

This mertik remote arrived safely.  On adding a power source and testing it was found that the up channel was transmitting but the down channel was not but also there was no indicator light when the bottom button was pressed.  This indicated that the button itself was faulty.  

The button was replaced and full functionality was restored.
