doesn't appear to work, even with new battery
On testing this handset it was noted that there was no response from any button press. Upon opening the cause became clear. The "waterpoofness" of the remote had failed and as a result corrosion had set in on many parts of the PCB.
The print was reworked using conductive paint and full functionality was restored.
Please note that this remote is no longer waterproof therefore the customer must be careful as further corrosion will occur if exposed to more water.
