Customer's Fault Description
Red light comes on when button is pressed, but garage door does not move. I have a second remote, which did work until recently, but now there is no red light when the button is pressed. Door still works OK with push button control.
This Garage door remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to be illuminating the LED when the button was pressed but was not transmitting an RF signal.
This was found to be caused by a couple of poor solder joints around the crystal oscillator. these were resoldered and full functionality was restored.
