All remote works but only intermittent

 

This Kenwood remote arrived safely and on powering was found to be intermittent in functionality.  On opening the control there were no immediate issues noticed.

 

A stress test was carried out to find if there was any micro cracks in the print, non were found but it was found that one of the pins to the main processor was lose on the PCB. The IC was re soldered on all pins and permanent functionality was restored.
