Customer's Fault Description
Changed the battery, but no lights are coming and will not operate the fireplace. Unable to get a replacement remote, so hope you can fix it.

 

This remote arrived safely, on opening the battery compartment it was noted that there was signs of a battery leakage on the terminals.

A power source was added and no function at all was found.  On opening the remote the battery leakage had spread further into the remote and onto the PCB.  This was cleaned up and there were a few tracks of print corroded that was reworked, full functionality was restored.
