Cable faulty at base of handset

 

This tempur handset arrived safely, the customers fault description was that the cable at the base of the remote needed to be bent in order for the control to function

One thing that was noted was that there was 1 missing screw which was part of the cable clap

On opening the remote a couple of the fine wires were "crimped" due to being squashed in part of the casing.  The remedy was to cut back the cable by a few inches and re solder it.
