Does not control the tv batteries have been replaced

 

This remote arrived safely, on first inspection it was noted that the screw was missing from the back.  When a power source was added no functionality was found.

When the controller was opened it was revealed that there had been a battery leakage which had corroded much of the print at the bottom of the handset.  This was reworked and the remaining acid was removed.  Functionality was restored.
