Customer's Fault Description
Complete failure of remote. No buttons function, although the system "off" function operated briefly, although system would only turn on again from the control on the display module.

 

This Bose remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to not be transmitting an RF signal on any button press.

When opened there were severe signs of liquid damage in on both sides of the print (see images)

The board was cleaned up and all the button array washed down and also a couple of corroded tracks were reworked and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
