Customer's Fault Description

Power light comes on the remote but door will not operate. The door operation is fine when using the test button on the printed circuit .

This garage door remote arrived safely with a battery inserted. When the button was pressed the LED illuminated as per usual but there was no RF signal being emmited,

On opening the control there was some contamination on the board. This was cleaned up and the problem persisted. A component check revealed that on of the pins to the aerial coil was open circuit.

This was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
