This hifi remote was ound to be non transmitting on any button press once a power source was added.

The control had signs that it had been opened as the casing was not secure.

There were 2 faults with the controller, the first was the print around the battery terminals was cracked, this was bridged and resoldered and partial functionality was restored.  There was also a break in the print on part of the button array, this was reworked with conductive paint and full functionality was restored.
