Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent fault on hand held controller. LED always switches on but does not always transmit to receiver.
This fireplace remote arrived safely and was found to not be transmitting on either the up or down channel, when tapped a faint signal could be detected.
Upon opening the controller there was a liquid found around and inside the untrasonic transducer. This rendered the transducer unusable, the remedy was to replace the transducer alltogether, this was done and full functionality was restored.
