Customer's Fault Description
the remote is dead - the light does not illuminate when the buttons are pressed, and will not control the motor mover. I think this is due to leaking batteries - there appears to be some corrosion visible inside the battery compartment.
This caravan mover remote arrived safely and when tested was not powering at all. On opening the handset the reason was clear, there was indeed as battery leakage inside as per the customers fault description.
This corrosion had eaten through one of the terminals meaning no power was getting to the pcb. A new terminal was fitted and full functionality was restored.
