Customer's Fault Description
Since the remote control was dropped,It will only work the fire if the circular sender and the receiver on the box are touching. We have taken the circuit board out of the remote. It seems that the signal is not strong enough if it is enclosed in the casing.
This remote and receiver arrived safely, on first inspection it was noticed that the battery covers were missing.
On adding a power source there was no ultrasonic signal being emitted on either button press, this was found to be a combination of the crystal oscillators and also a faulty transducer. These were replaced and full functionality was restored.
