Customer's Fault Description
I bought the handset used and can't seem to get the controller to switch on. I have opened the controller up and there is blu tac on the electric board and I am unsure why. I thought it best for a professional to fix it.

 

This Golf Caddy handset arrived safely and on adding a fresh power source was found to be non functioning at all.  The remote was opened and blu tac was indeed found to be holding the RF board steady. This was removed and the reason for it being there was found.  The connecting solder joints to the board were cracked and made the board lose and intermittent in connection. 

The joints were resoldered and full life was brought back to the remote.  It is advised that the customer check that the code in the handset is the same in the golf caddy (the blutac was covering many of the switches and on its removal may have moved some switches.
