THE REMOTE DOESNT TALK TO THE UNIT
This Firstline remote arrived safely. On adding a power source the display illuminated but no infre red transmission was being emmited.
On opening the control there was found some contamination around some of the button contacts which were shorting parts of the PCB. This was cleared by giving the board an alcohol bath.
