Customer's Fault Description
Faulty button
This Kinder remote arrived safely with a battery inserted. Initial inspection showed that one of the buttons was sellotaped to the front and the battery cover was broken and held on with tape.
The testing if the controller revealed that the button with the missing cap was open circuit meaning no function could be obtained by pressing it. This was repaired by replacing the button itself and then replacing the cap. Also there was signs of corrosion on the battery terminal so the cable itself was changed to prevent future problems.
