Customer's Fault Description
MAN Button (Stands for Manual)Stopped working. The button slowly became very difficult to use , it had to be depressed many times to make it work, I had it repaired some years ago which worked OK for some Months then again it slowly degraded until it stopped
This CCTV Remote control arrived safely, it was noted that there was a screw missing from the back of the handset on arrival.
The fault was confirmed to be that the MAN button was not registering any presses.
This was due to a worn contact on the rubber pad, most likey due to it being a very commonly used button and it wearing down over time. There were signs of a previous repair, this was cleaned up and the button reworked. Full functionality was restored.
