Only 2 YEARS OLD.
nIL KNOWN BUTTONS FAULT.
When try to use just get red triangle illuminating - indicating fault. (fire is perfectly workable using manual buttons on fire)
This fireplace remote arrived safely, on adding a power source the infra red signal was found to not be emitting on any button press. after a few button presses the signal did temporary work indicating an intermittent fault.
On opening the remote the IR led was found to be poorely soldered which was causing an intermittent connection and consequentially intermittent functionality. This was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
