Working intermittently

 

This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be intermittent in operation.  On opening the problem was found to be due to a crack in the solder on the aerial coil.  This was resoldered and full functionality was restored.  The button array was also cleaned as there was some slight signs of contamination which could have caused problems in the future if left un-rectified.
