Not turning fire up or down Red light on control goes on I have tried changing the batteries

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely with batteries inserted, on testing the controller itself was found to have a very weak ultrasonic signal on both the up and down channels.  This was found to be due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer, this was replaced and full functionality at distance was restored.
