Software failing to load - screen turns on, however just switches from blank screen to app loader message.

 

This controller arrived safely and on first inspection the batter cover was missing and there was a crack in the side of the remote.

Also the battery terminals were showing signs of corrosion.  most lekely due to a battery leakage. 

On adding a power source the display showed app loader then went blank.

On opening the controller there was a break in the print around the RF aeriel module.  This was repaired and also the terminals were repaired.  When a battery source was then re-added the remote had full functionality
