Customer's Fault Description
The On/stanby switch button does not work so non of the buttons work. The light does not work for any buttons.
This Sony Home Theater System remote arrived safely and on initial inspection was found to have marks around the controller that were due to a previous opening attempt.
On testing was found to not be transmitting on any button press. A continuity test revealed 2 cracks in the print of the main board, these were reworked and full functionality was restored.
