Customer's Fault Description
Remote is unresponsive when pushing buttons, batteries have been replaced and the contacts checked.
This Electric fire controller arrived safely with batteries inserted. On testing it was found that the remote was not transmitting on any button press.
The IR led was replaced as well as the 455 crystal oscillator and full functionality was restored.
