Customer's Fault Description
Remote unresponsive, even after fresh battery. Has been giving problems for over a year, now seems to have finally stopped working.
This Canton handset arrived safely and on testing was found to not be transmitting on any button press.
On opening the handset one of the legs of the crystal oscillator had become lose causing a open circuit, this was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
