Hi I have the gazco remote MMB22600, my remote does come on but it doesn't work the fire. I have tried to pair the remote and fire but it doesn't work as the buttons don't tend to work very well and also it takes a while for the display to come on. Is this something that could be potentially fixed? If so what would you charge
This Gazco remote arrived safely. On adding a power source the display did illuminate as per normal (there is usually a delay on first powering on these models). All hte buttons were found to be responding however no Radio frequency signal was being emmited.
On opening the control the reason was found to be a small amount of contamination on the sub module, this had caused some corrosion to part of the print and made the print high in resistance, this was remedied by reworking the print. When retesting a radio frequency was present.
