Customer's Fault Description
Non of the remote functions are working. Batteries replaced to no avail.

 

This Dimplex fireplace remote arrived safely, on adding a power source there was no RF signal being emitted on any button press.

On opening the controller there was a short found across a diode that regulates the voltage input, this meant that no power was reaching the sub board. This was replaced and functionality was restored. It is noted that this short will have drained any battery that was inserted into the control therefore please remember to use new batteries when powering up.
