Customer's Fault Description
Control box not reacting to remote inputs.
This Faber fire controller and receiver arrived safely, the receiver was missing its top cover.
On testing the handset the remote was transmitting but only on one channel, this was remedied by replacing the 40khz crystal in the handset.
The receiver was showing slight corrosion on a couple of the battery terminals which can cause intermittent power loss, this was repaired by coating the terminals in conductive sealant.
