AFTER BEING DROPPED IT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS DESPITE FITTING NEW BATTERIES AND CHECKING CONTACTS ETC.,

 

This Truma remote arrived safely with batteries inserted.  On testing the switch on there was no change in functionality.

The back was cut off and the problem was clear.  When the remote was dropped it had broken one of the mounting pins for the PCB.  this meant that the board was not correctly positioned to allow the switch to toggle correctly, the board was glued back into position and full functionality was restored.
