Light flashes but door does not operate

 

This Grage door remote arrived safely.  On testing there was no signal being transmitted on any button press.  On opening the control there was contamination found on each button pad, this was cleaned up but the problem persisted. 

A continuity test found that there was a break in the print near the central hole of the pcb, this was reworked and full functionality was restored.
