Customer's Fault Description
REMOTE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING ON ALL BUTTONS / TV WORKING. WE HAVE TRIED VARIOUS OTHER REMOTES BUT NONE SEEM TO WORK.
This waterproof remote arrived safely with a battery inserted. On testing thee was no signal being transmitted from the control on any button press.
On opening the control there was signs of water contamination around the PCB. This had led to a few broken print tracks due to corrosion, these broken tracks were reworked and full functionality was restored.
It is important to note that care must be taken with the controller as it is no longer fully waterproof, one way is to encase the control in a waterproof bag when in a wet environment.
