Customer's Fault Description

The source buttons dont work. switching from TV to CBL.SAT to AUX,to CD.DVD. Also the volume doesn't work and the on and off button. Generally most of the buttons dont work. I have dropped the controller in anything and i haven't spilt anything on it. The controls works intermittently. i have tried new batteries

This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be "sluggish" on various buttons. On opening the remote there was tarnish found on many of the button pads (see image).

This was causing high resistance on button presses and non transmission as a result. This tarnish was etched off and full functionality was restored.
