Customer's Fault Description
not working
This Hofmann controller arrived safely and on inspection there was a battery inserted that had visual bubbling on its casing, this led to the conclusion that there was a short inside the control.
On opening the handset the battery terminals are usually separated by a insulating block were indeed shorted together when a power source was inserted.
A double insulating sleeve was fitted and full functionality was restored.
Please note that the battery has been disposed of due to its damage making it dangerous for use (see image)
