Customer's Fault Description
Handset for one of a pair of adjustable beds which gives no response at all.
The other handset is working normally and can be adjusted to control the affected bed by changing the frequency setting but this is very inconvenient!
This Bed remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on various buttons except the head up/down and feet up/down. Also the red led indicator was not illuminating on any button press.
The issue with the buttons was found to be due to worn down contacts on the rubber pad array on the most commonly used buttons.
The buttons were reworked and functionality was restored to all buttons. The issue with the red LED is a common problem caused by a faulty IC, this is not available as a spare and therefore this issue could not be resolved but doesnt effect the functionality of the control.
